Treat yourself to an unforgettable holiday at Villa La Courcelle, a beautiful, newly refurbished 80 m² family villa set in a private neighbourhood on the hillside, near La Vigie. Sleeping up to 6 guests, it lets you enjoy complete peace and quiet while staying just a 15-minute walk from the town centre, its shops, sun-drenched beaches and the charming harbour of Cavalaire-sur-Mer.- Comfort and space: enjoy 3 spacious bedrooms, including a master suite with a sea view, separate shower room and toilet, ideal for a private stay. A bathroom and a separate toilet complete the space.
- Modern amenities: the living room has large bay windows offering a stunning view over the gulf, filling the space with natural light. Relax in a welcoming lounge with television and internet access. The fully equipped kitchen will delight budding chefs with its American-style fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee machine and everything needed to prepare delicious meals.
- Togetherness and relaxation: enjoy convivial moments on the large terrace, which also has an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. A barbecue area is on hand for unforgettable grilling evenings.
- Practicality: the villa is air-conditioned and secured. A laundry room with a washer-dryer makes your stay easier. There is also a large parking area for 2 to 3 cars.
Weekly rental, with the option of monthly rental during the winter period. Live memorable moments with family or friends.

About
Villa La Clairemaie: a family legacy taking shape
It all began in 1970, when the Puissant family, originally from Belgium, decided to bring a dream to life. The father, François Puissant, a well-known doctor from Tournai, wanted to give his wife Claire and their three children, Véronique, Bruno and Benoit, a place where they could spend unforgettable summers. He found a plot of land on the hills above Cavalaire-sur-Mer, in the private residential area of Super-Cavalaire, with a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean. This exceptional panorama inspired the first building: a spacious twin villa named “Villa La Clairemaie”.
La Clairemaie quickly became a haven of peace for the family. Every summer, Véronique, Bruno and Benoit enjoyed the gentle Provençal way of life, surrounded by friends and cousins. The villa, with its wide terraces and barbecue area offering a breathtaking view, became the setting for countless summer memories.
A corner of paradise in Cavalaire
Just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Cavalaire, the villa enjoys an ideal location. The lively harbour, the restaurants, the typical Provençal markets: everything is within easy reach. Wednesday morning is market day, and the family loves to wander through it. The scents of Provence, the colourful stalls of fruit and vegetables, and the aromatic herbs transport the Puissants into the region's warm atmosphere.
And what about how close the beaches are? Just a few minutes' drive away, the fine sandy beaches and hidden coves welcome the Puissants and their friends for sunny days out. They also love visiting the marina, where there's never a shortage of things to do.
The birth of La Courcelle, in 1999
In 1999, Dr Puissant took on a new family project. Next to La Clairemaie, a new 80 m² villa was built: “La Courcelle”. More modern, yet still in harmony with Provençal charm, this new building became a more intimate pied-à-terre, while remaining close to the family's history.
It was around this time that the children, now adults, began coming to Cavalaire with their own families and friends, carrying on the Puissant family's summer tradition.
A new life for La Courcelle, in 2025
After more than twenty years of use, in 2024 the family decided to renovate La Courcelle. The work was completed in 2025, transforming the villa into a true modern gem while preserving its original charm. The villa received approval from the town of Cavalaire and the tourist office, and was awarded a 3-star rating for its comfort and amenities. Now available as a holiday villa, La Courcelle once again welcomes travellers in search of authenticity and beauty.
Unforgettable summers: beach, sailing and boat trips
Summers in Cavalaire are full of activities for the Puissant family. The children enrol at the French sailing school and spend hours learning to master the waves. The port of Cavalaire is also the starting point for many boat trips. As a family or with friends, they explore the Îles du Levant, with their breathtaking scenery, or simply relax on the crystal-clear sea.
Provence and its treasures
Cavalaire is just a starting point for exploring the Var region and Provence. Saint-Tropez, with its glamorous charm, draws the family for a day trip. The Puissants also love strolling through the picturesque villages of Bormes-les-Mimosas and Le Lavandou, soaking up the region's typically Provençal atmosphere.
In summer, the villa is also a gathering place for the extended family and friends. The sea view, the gentle evenings on the terrace, and the children's laughter create a unique holiday atmosphere, steeped in sunshine and togetherness.

Today, Villa La Courcelle embodies both the past and the future of the Puissant family. By opening this home to holidaymakers, they share a little of their history and their love for this unique region. No luck with the weather, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa La Courcelle, which is ideal for a family.
The location is great, and above all the view over the Bay of Cavalaire is breathtaking. It's very well equipped, everything is well thought out for guests' comfort, it's very practical and the bedding is good quality.

What can we say about our stay, except PERFECT! An ideal villa for our big family; nothing was missing for our comfort… even the scales for making pancakes for our brunches, with the lovely view over the bay. Our backs thank the good quality bedding, an essential ingredient for a restful stay.
Thank you for all the great tips to make the week even better. We — and our little feet — know the lovely climb up to La Vigie by heart: what a joy not to always take the car and to go and fetch bread under the sun and the morning scents.
